A range of single element, granular micronutrient formulations is available from Indigrow, along with some popular multi-element products. If the tonnage quantity is large enough we are able to custom manufacture specific analysis.

Production

Using a process not normally associated with the production of agricultural fertilisers, we produce a homogeneous particle. Each particle contains all of the declared elements and is not a blend of a number of different products. Thismeans that there is an even distribution of nutrients across the treated area and that any one part of the crop cannot differentially take up just one nutrient.

Specification

All analysis contains both immediately available nutrients and a slow release fraction to ensure immediate response and longevity throughout the duration of the crop. Depending on the analysis, we are also able to supply products with readily available Sulphur. As Indigrow Granular micronutrients are primarily recommended to be used on neutral to acidic soils, it is important to consider other beneficial Secondary elements such as Calcium and Magnesium. Through the careful choice of raw materials, we are able to combine these elements into the formulation and so further enhance the benefit to the crop.

Application

The use of granular micronutrients should be limited to soils which are inherently low in particular elements and also relatively acidic.

If granular micronutrients are applied to high pH soils their effectiveness will be limited.

Although the concentration of a particular micronutrient may be increased it will become ‘locked up’ and unavailable due to the high pH and the associated antagonistic ions such as Carbonates , Bicarbonates and Hydroxides. In these cases micronutrients should be supplemented by foliar application.
