Outfield 30-8-8 contains moisture and temperature activated controlled release nitrogen from the 96% resin coating. Outfield 30-8-8 is controlled release in its nature, making it more environmentally friendly than standard release fertilisers. The controlled release nature is in keeping with the basic principles of sustainable turf.

Our controlled release fertilisers (CGF) have two different coating types. PSCU (polymer sulphur coated urea) based fertilisers use a release mechanism based on moisture, giving longevities from 8 to 12 weeks. Our Resin coated urea fertiliser has a release mechanism based on moisture and temperature, providing a longevity of 18-22 weeks.
