Organic Fertiliser
Organic Fertiliser
Organic fertilisers have become increasingly popular and far more effective in recent years. Indigrow’s organic fertilisers are loaded with natural, plant-based proteins. Our Impact Organic range is solely based on vegetable material and does not contain any animal waste or genetically modified products.
Our organic products are now predominantly produced from soybean meal, which is high in protein and an excellent choice for improved overall plant health and increased growth. Their high organic matter content makes them an ideal choice for turf managers moving towards a complete organic approach. Natural proteins are slow release in their nature. They are first broken down into amino acids by microbial activity. These amino acids are then broken down further to ammonium ions and, ultimately, nitrate ions. Swards that thrive in acidic soil react well to nitrogen provided as ammonium ions. It is this form of nitrogen which helps these proteins develop.
These formulations contain a balance of quick release nitrogen, phosphate and potassium (NPK) for an initial response from the plant. This initial release is followed by further response from the methylene urea and a sustained release from the organic plant proteins.
The Impact Organic range contains formulations suitable for fine turf, as well as for fairways and outfields.
