Indigrow were first contacted by Head Greenkeeper Peter Vinton back in February 2017. He was suffering with saturated greens and localised flooding, leading to stagnant and hydrophobic conditions, with member numbers suffering as a result.

Peter took the advice of his local technical representative, and followed an application programme based around wetting agents and biostimulants, and by May had noticed significant improvement in the quality of his greens, to the extent that their visitor numbers were significantly increased on the previous year.

Peter Vinton told us: “I found the Indigrow range and technical staff  to be of great help and support in this difficult period. The compatibility of the range both saved a lot of time, resources and money in our recovery programme.

“I do believe the recommended OneShot range of products improved the recovery and germination of overseeding in our greens, whilst Magnum 357 Calibre did a great job in stabilising our water management in the greens.

“There have been no signs of summer disease (which I had expected) due to the amount of forced growth to gain greens cover.”

All of the products applied were supplemented by an increased aeration programme, mainly sarrel rolling & solid tining.
