Indigrow Photo Competition 2024

The organiser of the competition is the Indigrow Ltd, The Old Bakery, Hyde End Lane, Brimpton, Berkshire, RG7 4RH, UK. The competition is free to enter and is open to anyone employed in the sports turf industry in a greenkeeping, groundsperson or turf maintenance position. Entrants do not have to be an Indigrow customer. Indigrow employees and their immediate families can not enter. Indigrow reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants. 

The competition will run for the duration of 2024, with a prize available for each calendar month of the year. Entrants can submit up to five images per month. Only one image can be selected as a finalist each month and entrants can only win one month in total. Only entries sent to [email protected] will be accepted. 

There are thirteen prizes. One prize of a GoPro Max 360 Action Camera worth £479.99 for the overall winner of the competition and twelve prizes of Indigrow SolarMax (2x5lts) worth at least £220.00 for each monthly prize winner. Each monthly winner can choose their preferred product from the Indigrow SolarMax range, subject to availability in the country of the winning entry. Winning entries will also be published on Indigrow’s social media channels. 

Twelve images will be selected to comprise the shortlist for the overall winner. The winners will be chosen by the Indigrow team. Images will be judged anonymously. Indigrow will not accept responsibility for entries lost or delayed when sent. Indigrow will not be held responsible for non-submission of incomplete entries. Indigrow reserves the right to use the names of winners and photographs (if taken) in any future publicity materials. Indigrow reserves the right to substitute the prizes for others of equivalent value. No cash alternative will be offered and the prizes are non-negotiable, non-extendable and non-transferable. 

All entries must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe the rights of any other party. The entrants must be the sole owner of copyright in all photographs entered and must have obtained permission of any people featured in the entries. Images must not contain any children under 18. Further, entrants must not have breached any laws when taking their photographs. Images may be digitally enhanced to remove sports or scratches, but not manipulated. By entering the competition all entrants grant to Indigrow the right to publish and exhibit their photographs in print, on their respective websites or in any other media. No fees will be payable for any of the above uses. While we make every effort to credit photographers, including in printed reproductions of their work, we cannot guarantee that every broadcast use of the photographs will include photographers’ names. The copyright of the photographs remains with the individual entrant. Entrants whose photographs are one of the finalists also agree to take part in any post-competition publicity. 

Entrants must not be professional photographers and, for the purposes of this competition, a professional photographer will be considered to be someone who makes more than half their annual income from the sale of their photographs. By entering, entrants will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these rules and Indigrow reserves the right to exclude any entry from the competition at any time and in its absolute discretion if Indigrow has reason to believe that an entrant has breached these rules.

The closing date for entries is 23.59 GMT/BST on the final calendar day of every month in 2024 to be entered into the monthly prize draw and by 23.59 GMT on 31 December 2024 for entry into the overall competition. Once an entry has been submitted it cannot be edited or resubmitted.
